The company derives 100% of its earnings from this segment. The Regulated Electricity segment consists of traditional regulated retail and wholesale electricity businesses and related activities. It includes electricity generation, transmission and distribution.Through its wholly owned subsidiary, Arizona Public Service Company (APS), Pinnacle West transmits and distributes electricity to residential, commercial and industrial customers. Excluding half of the Phoenix metropolitan area, the Tucson metropolitan area and Mohave County in northwestern Arizona, APS provides electric service to most of the counties in Arizona.
