It provides traditional and non-traditional products and services, and access to multiple service channels, including online banking and mobile banking. It is also a leading producer of multi-family loans in New York City, with emphasis on non-luxury residential apartment buildings with rent-regulated units that feature below-market rents. New York Community also originates Commercial Real Estate loans and, to a much lesser extent, Acquisition, Development and Construction loans, and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) loans. It has acquired Queens County Savings Bank, Roslyn Savings Bank, Richmond County Savings Bank, Roosevelt Savings Bank, and Atlantic Bank in New York, Garden State Community Bank in New Jersey, Ohio Savings Bank in Ohio and AmTrust Bank in Arizona and Florida. Its Banking Operations segment offers and servicing a variety of loan and deposit products and other financial services.
