Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Agreement”) govern your use of Macrotrends.net and all related websites, data products, reports, tools, newsletters, and any other materials or services provided by Macrotrends LLC (collectively, the “Services”).

BY ACCESSING OR USING THE SERVICES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND, AND AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES.

  1. Modifications to This Agreement. Macrotrends LLC may revise, update, or otherwise modify this Agreement at any time, with or without notice, to reflect changes in law, regulatory requirements, or business operations. The most current version will always be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of any modifications.
  2. Additional Terms. Certain Services, features, or data products may be subject to additional terms, conditions, or licenses. When applicable, such additional terms are incorporated by reference and will control in the event of a conflict.
  3. Ownership; Restrictions on Use.
    1. Ownership. All information, data, graphics, charts, analytics, software, layout, trademarks, trade dress, and other content made available through the Services (“Content”) are the exclusive property of Macrotrends LLC or its licensors. All rights not expressly granted in this Agreement are reserved. Unauthorized use of the Content is strictly prohibited.
    2. Prohibited Activities. You agree you will NOT, directly or indirectly:
      • copy, redistribute, transmit, sell, sublicense, publish, or otherwise exploit the Content except as expressly permitted;
      • use bots, scrapers, spiders, crawlers, automated scripts, or other automated means to access, extract, or download Content or data;
      • reverse engineer, decompile, deconstruct, or attempt to derive any source code, algorithms, or underlying data structures;
      • use the Services to develop, train, or enhance competing products, datasets, financial tools, or machine learning models;
      • interfere with or attempt to circumvent security controls, authentication systems, rate limits, or access restrictions;
      • remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices or watermarking included in the Services or Content.
    3. Premium Access. Certain data, time series, charts, downloads, or other resources may only be accessed through a paid subscription or license. Macrotrends LLC reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.
  4. Accounts; Security; Privacy. You must provide accurate registration information and maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are fully responsible for all activity occurring under your account, whether authorized or not. Macrotrends LLC is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from your actions or negligence. All personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  5. Billing, Renewals, and Cancellations.
    1. Free Trials. If offered, Free Trials allow temporary access at no charge. Unless canceled before the trial ends, your paid subscription will begin automatically.
    2. Billing. Subscription fees are billed in advance on the specified recurring interval. We do not offer monthly billing. All pricing and billing intervals will be displayed at checkout.
    3. Payment Processing. Payments are securely processed through Stripe, Inc. (“Stripe”). By subscribing, you authorize Macrotrends LLC and Stripe to store your payment method and automatically process recurring charges until cancellation.
    4. Cancellations. You may cancel at any time via your account dashboard or by contacting support. Cancellation prevents future billing but does not entitle you to a refund for the current paid period, during which access will remain active.
  6. Refunds.
    • Free Trial: Cancel during the trial to avoid charges.
    • General Refunds: All payments are final and non-refundable once a billing period starts, except where required by law or granted at Macrotrends LLC’s sole discretion (e.g., duplicate billing, verified technical access issues, or other exceptional circumstances).
    • Refund requests must be submitted to our support team and will be processed through Stripe.
  7. Financial Data; No Investment Advice. The Services provide financial, market, economic, and fundamental data obtained from various third-party providers. All such information is provided “as is” for informational and educational use only. Macrotrends LLC is not a broker, dealer, investment adviser, or fiduciary. Nothing in the Services constitutes investment advice, a recommendation, or an endorsement of any security, instrument, or strategy. You assume full responsibility for all trading and investment decisions.
  8. Disclaimers; Limitation of Liability.
    • No Warranties. The Services and Content are provided on an “AS IS,” “AS AVAILABLE,” and “WITH ALL FAULTS” basis. Macrotrends LLC expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and non-infringement.
    • No Liability for Certain Damages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Macrotrends LLC, Stripe, and all affiliates shall NOT be liable for:
      • loss of profits, revenue, business, or data;
      • trading, investment, or financial losses of any kind;
      • indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages;
      • errors, delays, omissions, or interruptions in Content or data delivery;
      • unauthorized access to transmissions, accounts, or data;
      • any reliance on Content or financial calculations derived from the Services.
    • Liability Cap. In all cases, Macrotrends LLC’s total liability shall not exceed the fees you paid in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
    • Time Limit. Any claim arising out of or related to the Services must be brought within one (1) year or be permanently barred.
  9. Indemnification. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Macrotrends LLC, Stripe, and their officers, employees, and contractors from all claims, damages, costs, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of this Agreement, or your misuse of Content.
  10. Termination; Enforcement. Macrotrends LLC may, at its sole discretion, suspend or terminate your access to the Services, with or without notice, for any conduct that violates this Agreement or is otherwise harmful, abusive, or unlawful. No refunds will be issued in the event of termination except where required by law. Macrotrends LLC reserves all rights and remedies available at law and in equity.
  11. Governing Law; Jurisdiction. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. All disputes shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Seattle, Washington, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
