Pinnacle West and their affiliates have provided energy and energy-related products to people and businesses throughout Arizona. Pinnacle West derives essentially all of their revenues and earnings from their wholly-owned subsidiary, Arizona Public Service (`APS`). APS is a vertically-integrated electric utility that provides either retail or wholesale electric service to most of the State of Arizona. APS is also the operator and co-owner of the Palo Verde Generating Station - a primary source of electricity for the Southwest. Pinnacle West's other principal subsidiary is Bright Canyon Energy.
