In Exploration & Production, PetroChina is the leading producer of crude oil and natural gas in the world. In Natural Gas & Pipelines, It is the largest transporter and seller of natural gas in China. The company sells natural gas mainly to fertilizer & chemical companies, commercial users and municipal utilities owned by local governments. Through Refining & Chemicals, it operates its refining process in several provinces. The company is the second largest manufacturer of chemicals in China, producing and selling a wide range of basic and derivative petrochemical & other chemical products. The Marketing unit includes a vast distribution network through retail sites, regional sales and distribution & lubricants' branch companies. Besides, it markets an array of refined products i.e. gasoline, diesel, kerosene & lubricants.
