Virgin Islands (U.S.) Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions 1970-2021

Total greenhouse gas emissions in kt of CO2 equivalent are composed of CO2 totals excluding short-cycle biomass burning (such as agricultural waste burning and Savannah burning) but including other biomass burning (such as forest fires, post-burn decay, peat fires and decay of drained peatlands), all anthropogenic CH4 sources, N2O sources and F-gases (HFCs, PFCs and SF6).
  • Virgin Islands (U.S.) greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2012 was 61.49, a 1.05% increase from 2011.
  • Virgin Islands (U.S.) greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2011 was 60.86, a 1.07% increase from 2010.
  • Virgin Islands (U.S.) greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2010 was 60.21, a 6.31% increase from 2009.
  • Virgin Islands (U.S.) greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2009 was 56.64, a 5.2% increase from 2008.
