Papua New Guinea Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions 1970-2021

Total greenhouse gas emissions in kt of CO2 equivalent are composed of CO2 totals excluding short-cycle biomass burning (such as agricultural waste burning and Savannah burning) but including other biomass burning (such as forest fires, post-burn decay, peat fires and decay of drained peatlands), all anthropogenic CH4 sources, N2O sources and F-gases (HFCs, PFCs and SF6).
  • Papua New Guinea greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2012 was 11,087.46, a 1.83% increase from 2011.
  • Papua New Guinea greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2011 was 10,888.09, a 2.07% increase from 2010.
  • Papua New Guinea greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2010 was 10,667.60, a 5.59% decline from 2009.
  • Papua New Guinea greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2009 was 11,298.73, a 18.73% increase from 2008.
