Cayman Islands Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions 1970-2021

Total greenhouse gas emissions in kt of CO2 equivalent are composed of CO2 totals excluding short-cycle biomass burning (such as agricultural waste burning and Savannah burning) but including other biomass burning (such as forest fires, post-burn decay, peat fires and decay of drained peatlands), all anthropogenic CH4 sources, N2O sources and F-gases (HFCs, PFCs and SF6).
  • Cayman Islands greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 1991 was 307.35, a 3.35% increase from 1990.
  • Cayman Islands greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 1990 was 297.40, a 0.95% decline from 1989.
  • Cayman Islands greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 1989 was 300.26, a 0.03% decline from 1988.
  • Cayman Islands greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 1988 was 300.36, a 30.86% increase from 1984.
