Switzerland Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions 1970-2021

Total greenhouse gas emissions in kt of CO2 equivalent are composed of CO2 totals excluding short-cycle biomass burning (such as agricultural waste burning and Savannah burning) but including other biomass burning (such as forest fires, post-burn decay, peat fires and decay of drained peatlands), all anthropogenic CH4 sources, N2O sources and F-gases (HFCs, PFCs and SF6).
  • Switzerland greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2012 was 54,108.10, a 1.96% increase from 2011.
  • Switzerland greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2011 was 53,066.87, a 7.15% decline from 2010.
  • Switzerland greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2010 was 57,154.18, a 3.45% increase from 2009.
  • Switzerland greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2009 was 55,245.97, a 2.45% decline from 2008.
