UAE Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions 1970-2021

Total greenhouse gas emissions in kt of CO2 equivalent are composed of CO2 totals excluding short-cycle biomass burning (such as agricultural waste burning and Savannah burning) but including other biomass burning (such as forest fires, post-burn decay, peat fires and decay of drained peatlands), all anthropogenic CH4 sources, N2O sources and F-gases (HFCs, PFCs and SF6).
  • UAE greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2012 was 204,888.72, a 2.78% increase from 2011.
  • UAE greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2011 was 199,342.52, a 3.22% increase from 2010.
  • UAE greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2010 was 193,127.16, a 5.87% increase from 2009.
  • UAE greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2009 was 182,422.17, a 0.57% increase from 2008.
