In March 2015, Novartis acquired certain oncology products and pipeline compounds from Glaxo. In exchange, it sold its non-influenza Vaccines business to Glaxo. Also, the company has spun off the Alcon business into a separate company. In January 2015, Novartis divested its Animal Health division to Lilly. In July 2015, the company divested its influenza vaccines business to CSL Limited. Novartis has also acquired The Medicines Company, adding Leqvio, to its portfolio. Novartis sold its investment in Roche.
