South Korea Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions 1970-2021

Total greenhouse gas emissions in kt of CO2 equivalent are composed of CO2 totals excluding short-cycle biomass burning (such as agricultural waste burning and Savannah burning) but including other biomass burning (such as forest fires, post-burn decay, peat fires and decay of drained peatlands), all anthropogenic CH4 sources, N2O sources and F-gases (HFCs, PFCs and SF6).
  • South Korea greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2012 was 668,989.65, a 2.91% increase from 2011.
  • South Korea greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2011 was 650,085.53, a 3.38% increase from 2010.
  • South Korea greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2010 was 628,838.72, a 5.78% increase from 2009.
  • South Korea greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2009 was 594,493.20, a 0.08% decline from 2008.
