Iceland Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions 1970-2022
Total greenhouse gas emissions in kt of CO2 equivalent are composed of CO2 totals excluding short-cycle biomass burning (such as agricultural waste burning and Savannah burning) but including other biomass burning (such as forest fires, post-burn decay, peat fires and decay of drained peatlands), all anthropogenic CH4 sources, N2O sources and F-gases (HFCs, PFCs and SF6).
- Iceland greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2018 was 3,440.00, a 0.58% increase from 2017.
- Iceland greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2017 was 3,420.00, a 3.64% increase from 2016.
- Iceland greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2016 was 3,300.00, a 0.9% decline from 2015.
- Iceland greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2015 was 3,330.00, a 1.22% increase from 2014.
