Republic of Congo Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions 1990-2024

Total greenhouse gas emissions in kt of CO2 equivalent are composed of CO2 totals excluding short-cycle biomass burning (such as agricultural waste burning and Savannah burning) but including other biomass burning (such as forest fires, post-burn decay, peat fires and decay of drained peatlands), all anthropogenic CH4 sources, N2O sources and F-gases (HFCs, PFCs and SF6).
  • Republic of Congo greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2020 was 19,421.78, a 3% decline from 2019.
  • Republic of Congo greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2019 was 20,022.06, a 6.77% increase from 2018.
  • Republic of Congo greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2018 was 18,752.37, a 16.05% increase from 2017.
  • Republic of Congo greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2017 was 16,159.30, a 4.39% increase from 2016.
