Arable land (in hectares) includes land defined by the FAO as land under temporary crops (double-cropped areas are counted once), temporary meadows for mowing or for pasture, land under market or kitchen gardens, and land temporarily fallow. Land abandoned as a result of shifting cultivation is excluded.
  • Barbados arable land for 2016 was 7,000, a 12.5% decline from 2015.
  • Barbados arable land for 2015 was 8,000, a 11.11% decline from 2014.
  • Barbados arable land for 2014 was 9,000, a 5.26% decline from 2013.
  • Barbados arable land for 2013 was 9,500, a 5% decline from 2012.
